This work is about losing oneself and finding oneself again. On that pivotal day when I confronted everything I had kept silent about and bottled up inside for years, I chose myself over the status quo. That decision restored my self-respect and brought “ME” back. Because without experiencing darkness, one cannot truly appreciate the value of one’s own light.
